if he has truly been operating at Obama's staff's direction and executive privilege applies and is upheld, then the real story- ugly or beautiful- won't come out for decades, until the documents and operation are declassified. In the meantime, let's appoint appoint someone like Kenneth Star to specially investigate this. A budget of $100 million with no restrictions on the scope of his investigation will do. If this really is a mess being hidden inappropriately, Obama will never take the fall. Holder might, just like Scooter Libby did for Cheney. And then, depending what happens in the Presidential election Obama will either pardon him on his way out next January or commute his sentence- if reelected. And, the Republicans will all scream more bloody murder (pun intended)! In the meantime and IMO, there are far more important matters that should be at the forefront of political discussions and legislative investigations right now. And, for the time being, this is not one of them (yet).
