I know I sent you both pictures of Baby Sledn wearing the wonderful cocoon made by the Mrs. And I know the photos were on the darker side. I don't know why our printer prints them that way.

So for those who haven't seen the EXCELLENT work Mrs. Mikey does... This cocoon is the coolest! And Jayden STILL loves it. I put him in it before and after every bath. And some other times also.

heh you can see it in the little laddie bucks eyes he's gonna be a handful when he grows up;-) I want an adult sized cocoon.... that just looks so comfy. I had a co worker about 15 years ago who's wife knitted blankets etc. I paid her like $100 and she knitted a queen sized blanket for me and my wife that we still use to this day. There is nothing like a knitted blanket to keep you nice and warm but it breathes so well that you never get too hot. I had her make two double sized blankets too for wrapping around us on the couch while watching TV. Still use them every winter too. Kids kinda claimed those;-p

My Mother crocheted as long as she could and as long as I can remember, til she passed, when she lost use of her right hand from brain surgery, she retaught herself left-handed. I have a quilt she stitched her signed name in the left handed scrawl. I will keep this as a memento.
We still have afghans she crocheted, before she passed from over 30 years ago.

Mrs. Mikey did do an awesome job! It's SUPER soft too! I am glad it is big enough for him to still wear.

You have no idea how true that is. If not for her I would have passed 3 years ago. Long story but I owe my life to my wonderful wife.
