That's my Uncle Clarence on the Far Left.

Any idea what make & model this car is?

I beleive that it is a Ford. I believe that I see the small V8 that was on older Fords on the front right quarter panel. Don't know which model. Do you know the date of the picture?

I believe Uncle Clarence often lost the fight for the last of the office donuts...cool pic, Jet.

Definately a Ford, probably a 1954 or 1955.

Looks like it is probably either a Ford Mainline or Customline. Knowing the year might help pin down which one, as the Mainline was only produced for three or four years IIRC.

Did some more checking, I think it's a Mainline. The Customlines had all kinds of chrome trim that this car seems to lack.

I may be wrong but, don't think so. The roof lines were lower and the car was longer on the 57. I'm gonna stay with the 54 or 55.

I think you are correct Street, going with 54, gonna see my Dad this weekend, he will be able to tell me. He's worked on everything from Model T's to Diesel Locomotives.

When you're 87 and grew up in the Rural South, ya had to fix everything yourself.

I did a comparison. Not a 57 or 54. Has to be a 55 or 56. X

Yep, my Dad said , that that they used a model that had no trim, makes it a little harder to tell, and from the angle he said the front end wasn't visible enough to be for sure.

I recorded some good memories, though as it got him tellin about living in East Hammond, in the 50's (my siblings were around, I was an oopsie in 62, hehe).
