I should post some pics of the Grandson when he was in ICICU after his 1st surgery. You would never expect to see him alive and doing as well as he is!!!!!!


I treasure all children, a deal I made in some "Sweat Lodges"/Prayer Meetings, when his Mom was maybe 9 or 10, but when so much is put into a little one like him, it changes a person in a deep way as well.

My wife and I started young and finished with the entire brood 5 days after my 30th b-day. Now days, everybody seems to not even *think* about having kids until they're in their mid-30s. I've got one in college and my friends are talking about starting families or having another baby in their late 30s or early 40s. Doesn't make sense to me. Although it was kind of fun to play with my friend's four year old this weekend. Don't get to have that much energy around anymore.

I was advising a former female co-worker that is 26 or 27 that these are prime breeding years and she needs to start making baby's now. She did ask me if she was allowed to get a boyfriend first. I told her to get off the pot, find one, marry up, and make babies.

My two cents.

Wait, where was I? Oh yeah, cute grand kids. Benefit of having children young, I anticipate to be around long enough to play with my grandchildren.

My wife and I talk about that as well, even though 25+ before having my 1st, there's no way I would want a youngster at my age. Her ex, screwed around w/ a 20 sumpn, they married, couldn't have kids, so maybe in-vitroed?, anyway he's now gotta little girl (he just wanted a boy, hehe). She will be 10 when he's 60//61. That's crazy, I love my Grandkids, but I need a break!
