... Good or bad (regardless of any particular side of any issue)?
Why? Without regard to the particular issue or reason, give some examples...

Example 1: Three Florida Supreme Court Justices are on the ballot for Merit Retention. An out-of-state group is pouring money in to a campaign against these three Justices based on personal dissatisfaction with their votes on certain cases. My opinion: Bad. None of their business.

Example 2: Alan Grayson, hated by many (perhaps rightfully) is collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars in out-of-state campaign donations for his Senate re-election. So too is his opponent. My opinion: I cannot decide as of yet: Grayson's votes in Congress affect all Americans, yet his elected duty is to the people of his District.

I don't like it on ballot measures at all. It's a IN state issue.

Now national candidates fine.

Judges? Can't say I like that.

I will be shock if he doesn't win. His opponent is an unqualified loser with a nasty temper and serious personal issues that derailed his last campaign and will again. Grayson has him out-funded many, many times over and has spent boatloads of money to buy commercial and air time a week or two before election day. The R's aren't putting money into his opponent's campaign either. I am not in Grayson's District, but watched their debate. His opponent totally lost composure, became angry and said some extraordinarily stupid things. Hard for me to swallow, but we will be better off with Grayson this time.

I know Grayson is bad news.
It's just that his opponent is a that bad of a total horror show. Trust me. I used to know him personally.

I would go with the newcomer over a man like Grayson every day of the week.

Grayson was a f'n trainwreck...a gaffe in front of the cameras...and a menace to busses on American streets.
