If Obama truly believes all that BS, why did he vote 'yes' on the corporate bailouts while he was still a Senator and continue bailing out (certain) corporations when he became President? Why does he continue funding the military-industrial complex? Why did he give sweet crony deals to Solyndra? To General Electric? Why did he appoint the former VP of a huge GMO food corporation to the FDA food safety department? Why did Obamacare end up being a huge handout to Big Pharma and insurance companies? Obama is just another big government Corporatist.

Brew is right, because the the election will come down to how much the feds want to tax the rich.

It's the wrong topic if we want to fix the economy. But Obama has made it a focal point because he his creating a divide, a class warfare. He'd rather pander to the occupy crowd then solve the issues facing America.

What get's lost in the rhetoric surrounding tax codes, is how small businesses are affected. That is the lifeblood to our recovery but Obama's $250k threshold will hurt small businesses in an awful way.
But none of the obama supporters know this, or care. Because hey, $250k is a lot and damn you for having money mr. small biz guy. Damn you all to hellz.

When austerity hits the USA we'll be talking about more taxes for anyone making more than 50K.

Enjoy this 250K conversation while possible. It is only to be taken serious when someone lays out a tax plan combined with a spending cut plan that balances the budget.

I do believe that a class war has been ongoing in the US for a long, long time. That’s how we got the Federal Reserve. Perhaps it is time that both sides fight.
