I took this at sunrise. And the day before, I discovered the Telford cigar shop in (or near) Marin. Holy cow! I've never seen a bigger selection of cigars. Fell in love with H. Upmann 1844 Reserve. So good. I smoked it while photographing Rodeo Beach.

That photo is AWESOME!

How do you get the street lamps to glow fuzzy like that?
Can a decent P&S get that effect?

Wow, thanks. I took the picture early before the sun had risen, allowing a long shutter exposure. Yes, it can be done with any camera, especially if it has manual mode. Just use a tripod. I think this was around a 30 second exposure or so.

And yes, H. Upmann 1855 is awesome. I wish they sold here. I believe they sell at the mother ship at least.
