I find it funny that the president who did away with habious corpus and destroyed states rights felt this way.

The main thing that is destroying this country is our royalty. Yes I'm talking about those 535 idiots in D.C., 537 if you include O and Joe. If they actually did the will of the people instead of catering to the special interests this Country would be a lot better off. JMHO.

There once was a member of Congress from Louisiana who was the Chairman of the House Committee for Energy and Commerce. He went on to become the President and CEO of PhRMA.

On June 16, 2003 Rep. Bill Thomas introduced H.R. 2473, the Medicare Prescription Drug and Modernization Act. On June 17, 2003 the bill was reported out of the House Ways and Means Committee. On June 19, it was passed by the Energy and Commerce Committee. The bill was then reintroduced by Speaker Hastert as H.R. 1. After much controversy and what seemed like sure defeat, H.R. 1 passed the vote by a tally of 216-215. Eventually on December 08, 2003 the bill was signed into law.

January 03, was it seems his last day as a member of Congress. On January 05, it seems, he became the President and CEO of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association of America. The bill it seems was a windfall for the phamaceutical industry. Hmmmmm.......

I'm not part of any royalty. In fact, I was never contacted regarding my position on this legislation. But, it was controversial nonetheless.

Whether one supports Obamacare or one does not, it is very relevant to note how it became law. In order to get 60 votes so the bill would pass the Senate, we were required to fund 100 of Nebraska's Medicaid expansion; cost unknown, fund Louisiana's expansion of Medicaid where it was reported to cost around $400 million, but upon closed look a zero has been added to the cost due to an "error", Connecticut's $100 hospital, etc... Oh and let's not forget that the 51 vote nuclear option was used for "reconciliation."

Shifting attention to the military industrial complex, have we forgotten B1Bob, the Congressman who pushed the B1 bomber project through Congress when it seems none of the military brass wanted it.

Impeach 'em all. Impeach them for introducing legislation which is detrimental to the people, impeach them for voting for the same.

We're way overdue to drain the swamp.

Problem is there's a sinkhole under the swamp. Kinda like a giant enema. No matter how much you purge, $hit keeps floating on top.
