These signs were all over Mauritius, where I spent my first vacation in a long time. As you might imagine - I enjoyed this country immensely!! All one has to do is stand near the sign....

I'm sure the roads are raised at crossings. That little island can't be more than a few feet above sea level.

nope, it's not, and if not for the dodo bird I wouldn't have known of it, but very nice, glad you got to enjoy, by the looks of the sign, I notice, you said stand near the sign,

I'm sure you were just hanging out around there, no pun intended............................ naturally.

It aint Diego Garcia, that's for sure. I remember in DGAR standing at about 5 feet above sea level and being able to see the water on both sides of the island.

Looks like a beautiful vacation island. I always wanted to go to the Seychelles, but I think this would be a good alternate.
