This is a friend of mine,James Earle.James has worn batteries to support his heart pump for the last 5 years or so.He's suffered severe heart problems for the 10 or 12 years.On Oct 28th a helicopter arrived to pick James and his wife.....emergency move to Dallas for a heart translpant.He'd been #1 on the list for the last 3-4 months.James recieved the heart of an angel,a 12 year old boy who passed from an asthma attack.Now the true miracle here is....as of today,Christmas,James is walking 2 miles a day....sometimes more if Kim lets the leash go.His body is accepting the ordan with little to no resistance.I called my friend today and wished him and his family Merry Christmas.....He sounded like the James of old,strong and ready for whatever comes next.Even though James is doing well I'd still like to ask for your prayers for him and his family.

James and his family had a very heavy heart today knowing that his life has been preserved by a 12 year old............some family out there is hurting.Prayers for that family as well.....they are -1 this Christmas.Dear Lord please give them the strength to go on and the understanding that a part of that young man carries on today and the recipient could not have been a better man.

Prayers sent, brother...............if he's a friend of yours, no doubt he will use that "gift", and honor the young man with the life he carries and the good he will do!

James and Kim went thru some turbulent times.They flew to Dallas on the spur of the moment twice just to find out the heart wasn't a match.These things are so time sensitive they're doing all the test while enroute.I felt bad for the family but I knew we were close and God was going to see this miracle through.Haven't talked to James today....I'll probably wait til Friday.

My Uncle went through the same thing 5 years ago, truly amazing to see him now healthy and active. Thoughts are with him and the family of the 12 year old. Merry Christmas Ron!

WOW.....I forgot to update.James and Kim returned home yesterday.As much as I wanted to go visit I just couldn't....I'm still on antibiotics getting over the crud and thats the last thing James needs.Maybe next week and I'll post up a new pick of a man with a new heart.
