Since the kids are grown and gone and we are thoroughly sick of the commercialization of Christmas, we only decorate and and have family over every 2 years. Seriously! This was our off year so no tree, no gifts (other than the small nephews, etc.), no lights, no big dinner.

My wife went to work for about 6 hours this year (got called in to the hospital) and I went to the duck club and went hunting. I actually spent $144 on gifts.
