DOW had to be called in to tag this kitty on the ranch my inlaws help take care of. This guy was getting a little too close to the horses and was finally tracked down a few yards behind the main barn and house.

Dept of Wildlife takes the animal for research, ie. weight (approx 180lbs.), diet, habitat, how far he traveled, etc. They believe there are 4 more in the same area.

We owned a pet shop/ grooming station when I was a teen.. An old man once brought in a pet cougar for a shampoo and nail clipping..

Beautiful creatures..but mean..

How could you kill that beautiful animal. That is one of gods beautiful creations.
