Some of you may have saw my "need to vent" thread in the general discussion section a couple weeks back. One of the things I used to do is brew beer and haven't done so since 7/4 due to all the crap going on. I had about 60 gallons of beer to either bottle, keg, or pitch and a lot of cleaning to do in the beer room. I busted chops this weekend and got a lot of stuff done and hope to be up and running again next weekend. Nice part is, since I'm back into cigars again, I will be enjoying some smokes while brewing this time around.🇨🇮

Man, you got that **** SET UP! My brother and I are going to bottle our Dry Irish Stout tonight for St. Patty's day. Also picked up 8lbs of Pale Malt, 2lbs of Vienna malt, and 1/2 lb of Crystal 10lL for our Haus Pale ale, we are going to be using this new Mozaic Hops for it..very excited to see how that will turn out!

What the hell is all that anyways, quite the sophisticated set up!???

Not too sophisticated. Basically just and all electric set up. No more freezing may a$$ off in the winter! I have plenty of grains and hops in stock, just not sure what I'm going to brew for the reentry into brewing again. Might just do a good pale ale for the spring/summer, but was also thinking of a saison or something. We'll see!

Instarted with a turkey fryer as well. I think most people probably do. 5 gallon turkey fryer batches, then I went to keggles and 10 gallon batches, to this system. Those are 20 gallon kettles, so I can pull off 14gallon batches or so, but I haven't gone over 12.5 gallons or so yet. The panel is a 50 amp panel, so I have the ability to move up to one barrel batches in the future.

Nope, no burners. It's an electric system. It uses hot water heater elements to heat everything. One element in the lauter tun (right), and one in the boil kettle (left). The center vessel is the mash tun. There is a stainless coil in the lauter tun that is my HERMS coil to maintain my temperature of the mash. So the stand is just stained pine!
