Whatcha fishing for? What are you using? I'm gearing up for 10 days in Minnesota in June. Just me, my wife, a nice little cabin in the North Woods and all the bass and Northern I can bring in the boat.

Thinking about a new Quantum Baitcaster I saw today....

The thread for fishing....at least until Wheel comes and queers it up

Heading back out now for fourth straight day of bass fishing. No trophies yet, but good numbers. Largest 4 1/2 # so far. Nice 14" crappie yesterday, though. Bass not touching anything other than worms. Floaters, shaky-head, wacky, Texas, doesn't matter as long as its a worm.

Sounds good, fellows. Lots of large mouth here in Bama but I'm quite a ways from freeing myself to throw in a line.

The large mouth were really hitting today. Just got home from being out for a coupla hours. As long as it was shiny, they were hitting it. Best with a Mepps Comet Mino....both silver and gold. Also grabbed a couple with a silver Lazy Ike. Good day.

Good day on the lake, jade. We're heading up to eastern sierras late June or July for trout. Might go out on the ocean for some rock fishing before then. Hope to snag a lingcod or two.

Went fishing on the golf course ponds a couple days ago with my Fly Rod.

Caught a few little bass and some bream,,,

lots of fun....

But, going to Florida in early June and plan on fishing a LOT...

ONly been once to my lake. A week before the herf my brother and I went for only 1.5 hours and caught 20+ bass...topwater!

When the fishinherf came up, rained HARD for 2 days before, lake looked like Choc. Milk, got cold and turned 'em off. Pulled them off the spawning beds. Only a couple of guys went fishing and only 2 bass. 🤦

Trout season in DE right now. Fly fishing with Golden Retrievers and Green Weenies being the top flies.

Ill be on Hatteras Island from June 29 thru July 6.

Ill be doing quite a bit of surf and pier fishing. Prolly catch a lot of small stuff there. Spots, mullet, croakers, spade fish and such. May luck up and catch something nice. Im sure there will be plenty of skates and rays around too. Ill throw a gotcha plug at some blues and Spanish off the end of the pier. I'll also do some inshore fishing for trout, maybe drift for some flounder, and when the tide gets right we will hunt down some big bull reds.

The trout are hitting (stocked) and the Bass seem to be finally moving around and hitting here. Water temp is still in the low 40's and with 30 degree nights like last night, they are not warming up too fast. Got my first Bass of the year yesterday, bout 2 1/2 lbs.

And good call on the Quantum reel, I think I have 4 of them. They just work.
