Hard to argue with the facts

If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have $16.50 of the original $1,000.00.

With Worldcom, you would have less than $5.00 left.

If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00.

Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink Heavily and Recycle.

Bud is quite a bit less expensive where you are than it is here ... best I remember seeing in quite a while was about $13.50 a case plus the can redemption value and you're talking about $11 each including the can deposit...

But that can deposit is really something else ... I thought the "redemption value" on cans was bad in CA, but if you can turn 'em in for a dime, I might just have to load up my empties and come your way for a visit ...

I've got better plan.

Buy and drink beer in North Carolina where no can deposit, then bootleg them to Ma. That's a real nickel per can. Better yet, go to MIchigan for the big bucks, a dime a can, lol, . Either way, still get more than a lot of stocks.

Hey....that episode was on last night....can't get enough of those old shows!

$14.99 a 30 pack here, no money for the cans.
