Digging through some old back-ups and ran across this roughly stitched panoramic from 2007 you might enjoy.

Pando Valley, CO.
On the road to Leadville, CO (highest city in US - Elev: 10,152 ft.)
Remnants of Camp Hale still reside on the left. (Elev: 9,344 ft.)
A historic WWII military site. Recently closed due to discoveries of asbestos contamination & further munitions retrievals.
Some cool history.

I've been to Leadville many times.I love fishing the headwaters of the Arkansas.Drop down highway 50 to Texas Creek and some of the best whitewater rafting on the planet. The Royal Gorge is beautiful from below.......Once you enter Hells Gate you encounter some of the wildest class v and vi rapids on earth.Throw in the view and .........yep an experience you'll never forget.Probably my favorite Colorado destination.

Cacman thanks for bringing back some awesome memories.
