Okay people, here are the perimeters:

-you are in your favorite greasy spoon.

-the sky is the limit; no dietary or medical obligations, as all of the fat, cholesterol, and salts all miraculously disappears after the meal is finished.

What are you Havin'?

Breakfast being the most important meal of the day; I will have, blueberry pancakes with peanut butter and Carmel sauce on top. 4crispy Bacon 3 eggs, hash browns crispy. Coffee and ice tea, and a Padron 1926 the biggest size, followed by a Tatuaje. While surround by my great cigar brothers as they eat there favorite meals, shooting the breeze and laughing at all the fun jokes. Oh yeah, eggs over medium on a separate plate.

There is a place around the corner from me that does an awesome brunch buffet on the weekends. I'm a card carrying member.

I load up with scrambled eggs, bacon, roast beef from the carving table, bacon, toast, home fries, bacon, fresh fruit, bacon, some more fruit, home fries, and just a little bacon to make it complete.

You get to go back to the buffet as much as you want.

The kids seem to gravitate to the pancake and waffle station. Lots of whipped cream, fruit toppings, jimmies and such.

Then we have to go back to the chocolate fountain for strawberries other fresh fruit.

Gluttony at it's best.

Eggs Benedict, our local Sunrise Grill does them pretty well.

Two poached eggs over Canadian bacon placed on an English muffin and drizzled with Hollandaise sauce. Served with home fries or grits.

I don't recall the name of the place, but years ago in Charleston, SC I had Eggs Benedict with caviar on top, it was fantastic.

I always enjoy the weekend brunch at a place where we vacation... I go with their coffee, eggs benedict, and nassau grits. I love all breakfast food but I that would be the meal I'd choose this very moment if I could.

Biscuits with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs topped with fried onions and sharp cheddar cheese, fried bacon, fried sausage links, rye toast with butter. Two blueberry pancakes on the side, topped with real maple syrup.

Lou Mitchell's, Chicago near the train station, those that have been there will agree it's the place to eat breakfast, although I would prefer this meal at home or more of a quieter cafe.

Cheese omelette, lots of crispy bacon with a sausage link reasting on top, Grandma's Swedish pancakes with ligonberries, scattered hashbrowns, cranberry juice, coffee.

I'd substitue Waffle House Cheese Eggs for the omelette if I could make them like they do.

🤔 not real hungry this morning..... just throw four eggs between two waffles and smother them with grated cheese, bacon bits and syrup.... then throw about 8 pieces of thick, peppered bacon on top... and a fresh japapeno on da side... 👍

My grandfather made his own sausage. Man I miss that stuff!

He did everything himself.....hams, bacon, sausage. That would be COUNTRY Ham....The salt cured kind. He had a smoke house behind the barn, and after 20+ years of being unused still smells fantastic.

My cousin makes sausages, andouille, etc... His dad did it before him. Uncle Fred made the andouilles the old way with beef center rounds, tripe, chunks not ground pork and garlic. He would smoke them a nice dark chestnut color on the outside. The meat inside was a nice reddish pink.

Can't find 'em like that anymore. Been thinking about building a smoke house in the back. One day.

I really wish I knew how to do it. Man it was some great stuff.

I found something similar in a small city. Cullman Alabama I think....I'll have to see if I can find the name of the place.

It's close to what Daddy B made, but still not as good.
