Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani school pupil and education activist from the town of Mingora in the Swat District of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province who at 14 was shot and almost killed by the Taliban. Her quest is for the education and equality of all Islamic woman. At 16 she would have been the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize but alas, that is apparently usually reserved for the politicans of the world.

It's the women who have to win that battle in Muslim countries and believe me it's just a matter of time until those abusive Taliban Men are retrained as houseboys when it happens ...

A truly amazing young lady. Her story is just beginning and I have a feeling many interesting chapters will follow. We have not heard the last from my newest hero!

Sorry to be one that pizzes on the parade, but WGAF about the Nobel prize. It is one more example of the body politic.

That being said, it is hard not to admire the courage of this person.

nothing changes without people like her. Remakable, and probably not out of danger.
