Glad it made it Mark, no need to post a pic. The pears are tasty...I hope they made the trip ok, we had a good crop this year but have been to busy to put any up. And if the cars make Peyton smile for a minute or two that's terrific!!

I still hunt up pear trees. There is one on the adjoining property in a corner of a field is a tree that is over 100 yrs old. Been meaning to get the COunty Extensin folks to come verify it, but it still bears pretty good some years. They are small pears, not like these.

Next to my brother's house (House I spent most of my school years/family home) is the orchard in the side yard, that my Dad and I planted. There is still one pear tree that is holding up, and some years, just after the first cool snap, I go and get a few, one or two never make it out of the yard.
