I played golf yesterday and it was 80 and sunny,,,,,

I hear Ya, we have had freezing rain and sleet since 2p.m. today.

So far so good on power, but it could go out any time. The trees are very heavy with ice, and I have heard some snapping of limbs, and a few trees go down in the last hour.

Oh Well, a typical December storm here in Arkansas.

Truthfully, I hope you stay safe. Very dangerous these Ice Storms...but I did like that movie (Ang Lee I think) a lot.

An event at Balcones Distillery is Saturday and it's gunna be in the 20's. Oh well, me and Tyyler will be there.

I remember the one around '72, my oldest Sister, her husband, my Grandparents, and a few others had to stay in our basement and we lived for almost a week, no power, with a wood burning cook stove that I had convinced my Dad to put in the year before.

Out of school over a week, and the ice was inches thick in some spots on the road, best sledding EVER!
