I don't feel sorry for them. I opted out of the breeding program intentionally and don't really give a damn about who's stuck with the check when I'm dead.

When you opted out, others (probably the "best of the best that the world has to offer") gladly opted in to fill your spot. Most of my middle class friends are either childless, have 1 child, or are challenged with handicappe..., er handicapable kids. Very few have 2 or more healthy kids to replace themselves...

Unfortunately, we are all intertwined. Contrary to popular opinion, any final preparations one's made financially in anticipation of old age will be rendered worthless if there's no food to be had. You can't eat gold or silver.

Best to work together & help one another on this "thing of ours" or simply put one's time here until it's time to go without a whimper.

Problem with this country is that we don't have an across the board, open market competitive and fair bidding and we also don't have Government subsidies for ALL major failing industries (textiles/shoes, appliances, fixtures, etc.) - just the sacred cows (autos, airplanes, insurance companies, & banks). Cronyism rules despite the rhetoric. I'm very skeptical of the ruling class these days. I think they would sell us down the river for a dollar and probably have already.

soon minimum wage will be 15 bucks an hour across the country so the workers can afford Obamacare.... those that get laid off because the small business guy can't pay them will be on da welfare and get Obamacare for free.... 😟
