Hey, Burns and Allen, great team.
Funnier than Burns and Schreiber.

Lowering the bar a bit there, aren't you, bubula? Like comparing the Temptations to Boyz to Men or Backstreet whatevers ... or something like that.8-[

LOL! Yep our neighborhood on Long Island was rich like that. Then we had to move to North Carolina (Camp LeJeune). 😞 😞 😞 👎

you are amazingly funny.

would you believe Stiller and Meara then? Mike Nichols and Elaine May?

Bloody, you'll know this one (no google allowed y'know) but I'm killing myself trying to conjure up the names of the Canadian comedy duo who got time on Ed Sullivan. I'm soooo close to it I can almost see it in print in my head. So far I am fairly certain one was named Frank something.

I'm pretty sure George Carlin teamed up with either Jack Burns or Avery Schreiber on morning radio before striking out on his own.

My neighborhood too. So lucky to have grown up in that world, what a great mix. It's why I still love everyone today.

You two would be great Trivial Pursuit opponents.

You're welcome frank, and thank you bloody. I used to be pretty good at Trivial Pursuit. One time way back when, my wife at the time and some of her family were playing a game, the question was 'Who was the oldest man to win the world heavyweight boxing championship* ' and I asked back, 'do you want his ring name or his given name? It was Arnold Raymond Cream, who fought as Jersey Joe Walcott. He was like, 37 or 38. "

They all looked at me like, wadda you some kinda wise a$$ or something? 🤦

*this was back before George Foreman KO'd Michael Moorer to win the title at age 45.
