And why

Do you really want a response from an Auburn fan?

Hate him all you want (I am not a fan) you can't deny he's a good coach; in college, anyway.
I think I'll do a post on Tommy Traitorville!:-"
Don't get me started on "Wing Nut". Just remember he was never going to leave Ol Miss. Bet Mo wishes "Wing Nut" was still there.
Will say this about your man Nic, probably the best head coach in all of college football at present.
He does get a little tight in some big games and goes a little conservative. He plays not to lose and when this happens it turns into a loss.
As far as an individual he suffers for a bad case of little man syndrome.

I'm an Ole Miss Fan 1st. Wing nut is a backstabbing liar...Did the same thing to Texas Tech.
You would think the colleges would catch on....he will bend Cincinnatti over the table soon as well.
:-k
He's turned around 3 programs. Michigan State, LSU and now 'Bama.

Part of the reason he is so good in Bama, is there is no salary cap.
You are not telling me anything I don't know.

Yeah, but he is hampered by the number of scholarships he can give out. When Alabama gets sanctioned and loses scholarships, he'll go turn around another program that has a full compliment of them. :-"
I also agree with MACS here but I can't isolate that scenario to just him. It has become the way of the NCAA coach anymore. Bend or break some rules and leave that program to clean up your mess. I am not up to date with colleges being investigated but I thought I did read something about Bama having some red flags shortly after the season. Could be nothing but I tend to lean towards the theory were there is smoke there is fire. Then again knowing something and proving it are 2 different things. Just ask Scam Newton and Johnny football.

Forgot to mention, believe I'm correct in saying that "Wing Nut" was 4 & 3 vs Nic while at AU. That would include Nic's time at LSU.
