Anyone here ever owned or still own a Victory Kingpin, or Jackpot? Are there any negatives you can list?

Did you like it, and would you buy another?

A buddy and his wife love theirs. He once posted a link to a set of Victory Vs Harley videos on YouTube.

Thank you Gene, I have about worn out youtube. Am going for a test ride in the next couple of weeks. But I like to hear what other riders think.

If I were in the market for a full bagger I'd give the Vision a good hard looking at. I love the way those ride, the balance is perfect and it doesn't feel like the beast it is. And the factory seat, so nice. It's like laying in a big bag of t|ts.

All I'll give Victory kudos for is being US Made. But don''t care for the styling. Would rather have an Indian, Harley, or Triumph.

Or go big-time with a BMW

North County Yamaha in San Diego sells them and has a test ride coming up on March 21st. Want me to go test ride one for you? I'd suffer for a fellow c'bid'er like that.....

Heck, may get a $1000 off coupon for a future purchase, but probably not transferable.

They are having the factory test ride here too. Careful Bur, they say if you ride it, you will buy it.

DWD the early models were known for good but underpowered motors and terrible clunky transmissions.

The trannys still aren't the greatest but are much better and the motors are very good. If you intend on keeping it, they don't have the resale of Harleys. That being said if I were buying a USED bike the Victory is a better value to me. But if you're set on a new bike and like the looks of the Victory I say go for it, good product.

Also Arlen Ness has helped designs recently.

Thanks Zrx, that was what I had heard in bits and peices. Wanted to hear from other bikers, if I go the Victory way (testdrive first), I will probably buy one a few years old. Its either that or a new Mako Bay boat. Thanks for your input.
