It will take you a long time to listen to the 630 songs anyway.

Maybe a little late for this but ideally you would want to store your music library on an external drive(s), so that you can physically move the drive from one system to the next rather than going though the long transfer.

What printer did you get?

that is the plan in the end but there was not enough room on the original drive to consolidate things.

HP office jet pro 8600. It keeps jamming in the rear much like jade.

I have had really good luck with my Canon Pixma and others around me like theirs too. The HPs just arent made of the quality they used to be made with, meaning cheaper feed wheels and looser tolerances in the paper path.

I'm not a fan of ink printers in general but that being said, I've had good luck with lexmark ink printers. Plus, their cartridges are a bit cheaper, they even have some where the black ink cartridges (2000 sheets per cartridge IIRC) are priced at $5/cartridge.

cheap Hp Envy 5530, will print all you need, grabbed one to get ready for this EUO, and it's already gone through a ream of paper no problem, and the XL black cartridge that came with it is still performing.

I had good luck with my previous HP's as well

YMMV

Do you really need the scanner and color prints?

also went with the largest time capsule they have, but have learned that some knowledge is required to access files from other computers that have been backed up. Otherwise, I've considered getting an external, just for pics, and vid's

I do need the scanner for work, but it doesn't need to be a document feeder. family wants\needs color for school

I have an Epson WorkForce 630. Not sure they sell this model anymore since I've had it for about 5 years but I don't recall having any problems with it. WiFi, USB, copier, printer, fax, scanner.
