Recently grabbed a couple coffins of the LGC Rabito de Cochino on a major sale. Not a big fan of the clear top coffin.
Started with the LGC Maduros (Wavell & Minuto) and I dig the lancero vitola. Must say it's an attractive cigar with the pig-tail and closed foot.

Anyone try these?_DSC0032_LGC_RabitoDeCochino.jpg

A lonely post...

I haven't seen those... but they look good.

Edit: Looking a little closer, they look a little gnarley... but, LGC is usually very good.

I've almost bought them on numerous occasions, but I've been underwhelmed by the NC LGC lines so I've stopped myself each time. Have to let us know how they are, possibly a sleeper like the CyB lonsdales..

I was surprised!!! Not a very complex cigar, but I wouldn't say it's one-dimensional. My 1st natural LGC. The nuttiness of the Sumatra wrapper built with a subtle sweetness and spice towards the end. Twisted the pig-tail to open the cap instead of cutting, and the closed foot offered a nice intro. Smoked one after a few days of arrival and the burn/draw was perfect. Overall between 3 coffins, the construction was impressive considering the $7 shipped/coffin price. Believe these are being discontinued. May have sold better if they where offered in 10ct boxes or as a true culebra in a coffin (w/o the clear top). Would have been interesting to try a maduro. Started with the Minutos & Wavell maddies.

Don't worry Wombat. Won't be sending you any lanceros to try.
