Has anybody had any issues with PayPal recently?

I tried to use them tonight, like I have a hundred times before, and my credit card did no show up as a payment option for a transaction (...not from here). The credit card is still valid and shows up in my profile.

I contacted them through their stupid Contact Us page with a detailed description of the issue and they sent a reply email with links to 4 canned responses to general credit card questions... and it did not include the initial detailed text I included from their stupid Contact Us page.

Their reply was that if the 4 canned response links didn't answer any of my questions to reply with a detailed description of the issue. 🤦

Ok, basically just a rant.

I had a similar experience last week so instead of writing to them again, dissected my account and figured out what was the issue. A Help Desk that's not much help....

I used pay pal a few days ago on an e-bay purchase with no problems.

I changed my password on e-bay also, as they have been recently hacked.

I use paypal daily. I have seen an occasional instance when it said "Credit Card is not available for this purchase" or similar, not sure why. Contacting their support will yield you nothing- If you do get a response, it will be well after you actually need it.

I can't wait for bitcoin to be more widely accepted.

Got another reply today from Celine with PayPal.

... basically stating that it looks like my issue has been resolved. Have a good day. 🤦
