3 run bomb off of ****** "Monster" Radatz in the All Star game the year he played out of his mind. Radatz was virtually untouchable before that for the lowly BoSox back then.

What made ya think of him Al?

Your memory is better than mine, so I looked it up. It was '64, the year the Phillies phainted and lost 10 of their last 12 games, blowing a big lead and a ticket to the World Series.

I turned 11 the summer of 64 so not much was more important to me back then.

and I looked up the Allison thread thang, don't know how I missed it.
