Yep good stuff!

I remember when I left Charleston, SC 10 years ago and moved to VA. Had my first one up here and loved it. Went back to Charleston a year later and every bar was carrying it by then.

Good, inexpensive and readily available (they brew it over the bridge in Tampa). My go to beer when they don't have something else I want.

they brew yuengling in tampa now?

apparantly

"Yuengling is a regional brewery that has manufacturing facilities in Pottsville PA and Tampa FL. It simply is not logistically feasible to transport beer outside of our current footprint."

huh

For quite some time, Yuengling has a brewery in Tampa that they bought many years ago, they do tours but I haven't been yet.

Funny story: many years ago I stopped by a shop-and-rob on the way home to pick up a 12 pack. I get to the counter and it runs up rather expensive. I asked and the kid behind the counter is like "ya, imports are more expensive." I was like "they brew it in Tampa, how much do you think it costs to drive it over?" He had to go get a manager to tell him it wasn't imported, thought the whole " oldest brewery.. PA.." thing should have been his first hint...

That's what I'm working on this week is a 6 pack of em. Always a go to since a bartender once made me some bomb with that and Guinness and the Yuengling had leftover beer. I drank it up and now I'm a fan with it in rotation.

Agree on the Black and Tan....good stuff. Just returned from visiting my daughter in Va., the Legends Brown Ale is a keeper also.

Growing up in Philly I've been lucky enough to have access to Yuengling my whole life. The Lager and the Black and Tan are outstanding. If I was at a bar that didn't serve Guinness from the tap I went with the Yuengling Black and Tan. If I wanted something lighter it's the lager.

Here in the Finger Lakes region of N.Y. it's bigger than Budweiser or Coor's. It's available absolutely anywhere they sell or serve beer.
