Ledger David 2013 Cab Frac Reserve at the tasting room with my lady.....the bottle looks different than the one I sent DED. Everything is painted on, no label....weird. tastes the same though. Black cherry nose, lots of dark fruit on a gentle finish. Awesome wine

That was a very enjoyable Cab Franc. Velvety tannins and more opulent than almost all wines I have tried from that appellation. Thanks again.

Serra Vineyards syrah 2010.

This is our favorite vinyard, and they don't distribute at all...found a store out their way (but not as far) that had this WAY cheaper than the vinyard and covered in dust and older than what's available at the vinyard. They're pretty much a member supported place.

Very fruity black cherry and a boozy finish (14.5%) and a very pleasant taste as that boozyness subsides.
