(2014-08-02) — Just hours after Hamas violated the most recent ceasefire agreement with Israel, President Barack Obama dispatched Secretary of State John Kerry to the telephone where he spent hours hammering out an ironclad unilateral 72-hour “cease-liar” deal with Hamas.

“During these three days,” Kerry said, “The leaders of Hamas have agreed to refrain from making any commitments they don’t intend to keep, or that they might later decide to breach, even though they start out with goodwill in their hearts.”

The White House admits this is an interim cease-liar agreement, and “at any moment Hamas could stagger under the burden of such an historic promise.”

Secretary Kerry completed the latest deal as the clock ticked down on the monthly minutes allocation of his Windows smartphone.

Kerry also explained that this week’s truce collapsed largely because neither Hamas, nor Turkish and Qatari mediators, could comfortably pronounce the first three letters of “truce.”

The Obama administration has agreed “to suspend peace talks for the duration of the agreement to facilitate compliance by Hamas.”

You mean an organization that governs itself based on the ideas of radical Islamic fundamentals didn't keep its word???? Well I never.....

wouldn't hamas have to sign and agreement and subject themselves to rule of war to proceed with war crimes proceedings? Unless it is indirect and brought by another country harmed that did sign. somethin like that

all they have to do is sign an agreement and they can press for war crimes. of course hiding arms in schools and stuff would be more problematic for them.

Are hamas rockets aimed at military targets or are there different rules? I recognize israel plays better defense so outcomes are much different. But what is hama shooting at?

I thought it was a well known fact that hamas uses amalances to transport terrorists and missiles and stuff. Then they shoot them from schools and hospitals and orphanges and stuff. All to entice bleeding hearts and stuff. Or am I mistaken, and stuff ?

I don't think hamas has smart missiles that they can pinpoint where they land. They just fire them off and hope they hit a hospital, marketplace, school, or orphanage.

They get more accuracy sending in women to such locations with explosives under their burkas. They kill lots of people that way.

Hand wrote the first link and watched. Why is it they always seem so prepared to document wrongdoing? A press member and like 6 professional quality cameras in action separately ? How are so many hit in the feet& shins? Also ithe looked like the shell was on the other side of the wall from the ambulance . Or missile . Or IED or whatever the explosion was as I heard no telltale mortar sound .

Not blindly taking anyone's story here as both sides have blood on their hands. There are some Jews just as race proud as Hitler ever was, but the PLO and Hamas have a blatant history of targetting civilians and hiding behind them.
