I like them. I used to live a few blocks away from Joe's Stone Crabs on Miami Beach. Never went there because it was so damn expensive. The place has been there 101 years. I'm a big fan of blue crabs. Ate them all the time when I lived in Baltimore. King crab are great. Snow crabs? Meh. Personally, I don't think there's anything better than Florida Lobster. 10 times better than Maine lobster. Never had Dungenous, though.

Boiled blue crabs, corn and taters with plenty of ice cold beer is a hell of a meal.

Although I do enjoy lobstah, if I'm forced to tell the truth I like blue crab even better.

If it weren't such a PIA to eat, I'd have it all the time.

Plus, they're easy to catch (free) and lobster is usually north of $5/lb.

Blue crabs imo are by far the best meat they just take longer to pick. Of course I may be a little biased since this what we get the most of locally but never been a fan of the larger crabs the meat is just not as tender.

If they're soft shelled you don't have to pick them.
