Saw that yesterday.

Laughed.

Kinda mixed feelings though

My parents did this to me with my music cds when I was 16. It was the catalyst that set my life in motion. I left home, quit highschool and got my ged, started college. I was homeless for a while, then got a place to stay and figured **** out on my own.

I was never unemployed though. From 7th grade on, I've held fulltime/damn near fulltime jobs, and often more than one. I remember riding my bicycle 10 miles each way to work on the weekend. During the week the bus would drop me off at work and I'd get a ride home from coworkers.

Seems that for you it worked out for the best.

My parents never did anything like that other than wup my azzz! An by the way, a wupping is worse than a whipping.

We had a rule around our house for the two young ones that there was no riding in the street on their skate boards.
After two trips to the ER with the youngest in three weeks to get his chin mended, his board met it's death at the hand of my ax. We had no more board accidents around our house.

Had a bad spill one night when I was in college and never went on a board ever again. Our kids are much more athletic so they stayed upright much better.

When in doubt, refer to rule #1 - The Senior Chief is always right.

Well... I mean, the Senior Chief is still always right... but you don't give a rat's ass and he can't make you care.
