I was glad they appeared to be doing something with banks, but here we go!

DOJ To Give Money From Bank Of America Settlement To Liberal Activist Groups

.DOJ To Give Money From Bank Of America Settlement To Liberal Activist Groups
Judicial Watch reports that the Department of Justice is giving liberal activist groups money from a $16.6 billion settlement with Bank of America.

The groups benefitting from the lawsuit, according to Investor’s Business Daily, are the National Council of La Raza, Operation Hope, National Community Reinvestment Coalition, and Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America. The money also went to “delinquent borrowers” in Chicago, Oakland, Detroit, Philadelphia, and other major “Democrat strongholds.”

“This is a wealth redistribution scheme disguised as a lawsuit,” Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, told The Daily Caller. “And who benefits from the distribution? Interest groups the administration relies on, outside interest groups, allies and politicians in communities trying to benefit as well.”

Fitton noted that these liberal groups are basically what’s left of the Association of Community Organization for Reform Now (ACORN) network, and that President Barack Obama has ties to ACORN.

“You have La Raza that’s getting money, their former head is at the White House in a top position whose funding from the Census has gone up immensely under the Obama administration,” Fitton said.

La Raza, Operation Hope, National Community Reinvestment Coalition, and Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America have all intimidated banks to give loans to minorities, even if they can’t afford to pay them back.

This is part of an ongoing scheme in which the DOJ puts the money it has gotten from bank settlementsin a slush fund and then funneled the money to liberal groups. Judicial Watch points out that liberal groups — many of which are the same ones benefiting from this lawsuit — also received money from multi-billion settlements from JP Morgan Chase and Citibank, as well as a $335 million settlement from Countrywide Financial Corporation.

“What we need is an honest Justice Department run by people who make a commitment to the rule of law rather using their power to extort and benefit more government and their political allies.” Fitton said. “This is no better than Tammany Hall.”

Welcome to Chicago....Doesn't shock or outrage me anymore. Can't fix it, so I voted with my feet (your political votes don't count in Chicago) and quit paying taxes to that city/county/state.

I don't think the article is missing something. I thing the obammer regime and all his crooks are missing a little dedication to the American people and to the American values.

I understand you aren't bright enough to grasp this tcby... But I see no evidence for the claim made in the article.

The only announced destination for any of the money I've seen is state pension funds. To claim you know it's going to some random liberal groups is to simple lie.

I'm just questioning Z's lies.... I suppose you're cool with someone lying to you as long as it fits with your myopic world view... You go on with your bad self.

First sentence was my "lie"

I think Barry is purposely doing things to inflame those who don't approve of him. I C&P the article, don't worry much about your take away. It's for consumption that's all buddy.

I've always firmly believed that reposting an article, the poster takes full responsibility for the original article unless they state otherwise at the beginning. Otherwise we could have people posting inane reposted lies constantly and just saying "oh it was just a c&p I didn't really think it was true". The damage is still done... The lie is spread like a virus and the weak have been infected.

The fact that YOU can somehow continue to believe ANYTHING the Liar in Chief says is telling of how much of a " Waterboy " you really are. This Chief Redisributor in the WhiteHouse is giving it all away to groups he's counting on for their left leaning votes....In fact I'm certain he's counting on YOU.....( don't let him down....Waterboy

Aw... Its funny when you try to argue.

The president has not said anything on the matter. Yet you tell me I "continue to believe" him. I don't think you are even arguing the topic at this point...

All I asked for is evidence of this accusation. If you think that counts as "carrying water" for someone, then you're part of the problem and should likely be kept from weighing in on any discussion.

"What we're sick of—and it's getting even worse—is: you either like Michael Moore or you wanna ****' go overseas and shoot Iraqis. There can't be a middle ground. Basically, if you think Michael Moore's full of ****, then you are a super-Christian right-wing whatever. And we're both just pretty middle-ground guys. We find just as many things to rip on on the left as we do on the right. People on the far left and the far right are the same exact person to us." - Trey Parker when asked about the political arguments on cbid...

There you go with the "carrying water" bs.

You think it's carrying water to simply ask for evidence of an accusation?

Let's try it this way.

Let's say I post something on cbid like: "TCBY was donating money to ISIS because he loves terrorists and wants them to win."

Then Z reposts it as hot news: "I saw a post on cbid that says TCBY donates money to ISIS because he loves terrorists and wants them to win!!"

Now... a smart person might say something like: "Huh... is there evidence of this? I mean, money leaves a pretty easy trail to follow these days, especially when dealing with public money and/or individuals with no skill in laundering". Or a smart person might say: "Huh... has TCBY made a comment on the matter?"

But no. You believe that any of those statements are equal to "carrying water" for TCBY and that the only appropriate response is "I knew it... TCBY is a nasty little terrorist lover. Probably the Worst Cbid Member Ever."

You're the one with the hard-on over obama. I don't defend or attack him, because usually all the bs out there that people either want to attack him over or praise him over is just that... bs. Learn to see through it some day.
