Why would CI sell cigars thru Cbid when they can get more at CI, if this makes any since.

Are cigars sold at Cbid of a lesser quality, dry or other issues. I bot Joya Nig Cabinetta and the were hit and miss.

Should we be wary of Cbid. Thank you.

Why would Cigars International sell cigars through Cigarbid when the cigars are sold for more money at Cigars International? If this makes any sense.

Are the cigars sold at Cigarbid of a lesser quality, dry, or other issues? I bought Joya De Nicaragua Cabinetta and they were hit and miss.

One should we be wary of Cigarbid. Thank you.

CI = retail

cbid = retail + overbid

For fear of getting all Cliff Claven, it's how the Mothership moves extra inventory and gets "turns" on it as well.

It also keeps us entertained with the inevitable overbid threads, drunk underbidding where you win 15 pairs of coffee mugs (hmm, yeah, that was me), and excuses to say:

We love Trish

Don't ban the N00B, Trish

BOMB TRISH!

C-Bid allows CI to dump slow-moving inventory to make room for faster-selling, more profitable items. Then there are the overbidders, as one poster has already pointed out. And, if C-Bid did not exist, CI would have to sell many items below their cost in order to get rid of them. I think they do this already even with C-Bid, because they carry a bunch of cigar lines that only Noobs (or a sadistic/masochistic cigar smoker) would buy. [frypan]

There's a such thing as CI and CBID? And they're the same? And the operate differently? Information overload!!! I'm shutting down

Be very wary, don't bid on anything unless it goes above the CI price, cause then you know it's good.

Joya Cabinetta have always had complex flavors and are great. I smoked two from the same order one was good the other bland. Maybe their changing the blend.
