Tim sent me 5 different Oktoberfest beers to sample. 2 of each.

So far I have tried the Schlafley's and Bob's 47. Looking forward to sampling the rest! (Bob's 47 is the better of the 2 so far, IMO)

Actually looking forward to trying the Leiny's... I am not really a fan of their brews, to be honest, but never had their fest so we shall see.

Whoops... already popped the tops on the Mother's. Just poured them. All beers so far have seemed to be in the marzen style. Reddish brown in color. This one is no exception, but it is very cloudy.

Not sweet at all, IMO. Malty and very smooth. The Paulaner and Spaten marzens are very clear, but they have more taste on the finish.

Not sure why you dislike this one... I'm actually liking it.

Mothers is not the one I just like although it is much better on tap that it is in the bottle

Okay... so far I've tried 3. I like Bob's 47, Mother's, Schlafly, in that order so far. Still have the Leiny's and the summit to sample. Leiny's is next.
