They're in their October groove again............long series ahead, but they simply snuffed out the Cards tonight.

30% of Cards fans LEFT the game before the ninth inning! WTF?......are they trying to be like Dodger fans?

Giants aren't most talented..........but they are usually mentally tougher than their opponents in the crunch.

Bochy doesn't get the credit he deserves either................best manager in baseball.

KC? They look scary fast, reckless, and loose, and have a bunch of flame throwers in the bullpen.

Sweeping the Orioles might actually hurt them................cause while waiting for the Giants/Cards series to end, they'll wake up and realize they have no business being in the World Series!

Go Giants!!!!

The Giants have a metric TON of heart. And Bochy is a better manager than Torre was. I'd still love to see the young upstart Royals win it all, sticking their middle fingers to the Dodgers and Skankees and Angels payrolls.

I've hated the Giants since the 60's, when they battled the Dodgers, literally, every year for the pennant. I now despise the Cards, who own the overpaid and under-performing Dodgers, and dislike them almost as much as the Giants. I thought the Giants were done, the way they folded in September. But the Giants seem to perk up in the post-season and amazingly, are doing it without one of their key players, Angel Pagan and one of their best pitchers, Matt Cain. Bochy is a great manager who is going up against another one. That move by Matheny to have the mound repaired in the last game when Rosenthal was on the verge of unraveling was wickedly brilliant. Baseball's equivalent to a well-taken and much needed time-out.

I don't have much choice other than to admire the Royals. They're playing winning baseball when it counts the most, with defense, base running and clutch hitting. And within a tight budget...

Dodgers are paying about $30 million for manure, sitting in their bull-pen. What a waste...

I was worried about the time off too. That said the ALCS is 7 game series too and it's not wrapped up let alone an early end.
