Anyone here own one? I love my ar15 but have been looking at these hard. They have a lot of advantages over the Ar platform. They do carry a hefty price tag.

I'd like one, but they are a bit too proud of them. AR prices are dropping however and that may push down the price of the Tavor. I liked another bullpup design years ago, the Styer AUG but it was just too expensive.

Not worth it, ininvest the money in a .300 blackout Noveski.

About 300x's better.

Yeah, except ammo is hard to come by and pricey. I'm buying 5.56 at 6ish a box right now.

Whatever, talk like an over bid winning noob....

But when you fire a supressed .300 blackout and see the knockdown damage your boner could cut diamonds.

Haha. Well unfortunately suppressor a are illegal in this state. I'm wondering how long that round will stay around for.

If you want 30 cal get a 7.62x39 upper or an AK.

Galil is coming out with a new and improved Galil in 7.62x39 that will accept AK magazines.

7.62x39 can be had really cheap.

Ndill, no but for the money I honestly would go for the blackout. Navy seals rave about it. It isn't supersonic like a .223 and has SERIOUS knockdown power, it hits lime a mule. Even without a supressor it's quieter.

Not great for +200 meters but neither is a bullpup.

The Galil is a great gun. I have been reading and watching things about it for awhile. I haven't watched that video yet but I believe it is the same company that make the favor IWI?

As far as the last statements that just crazy talk. Plenty of people out there shooting .300blk and bull pup (assuming 5.56) rounds to that distance and further. Do I, nope! Not enough room at where I am shooting.

After a little reading and watching some reviews on the .300blk I have found some good points and bad. The ammo is crazy expensive. I would however convert my current AR to a .300blk. It appears easy enough. I would never buy a .300blk gun due to the fact that I am wanting to get away from the AR platform, hence the tavor. I did see one youtube video off a .300blk tavor though! Seems like the round has much to offer. It would given me the chance to have a larger round (grain) at slower speeds. Which may sound like a down side but it is really not. Any of these rounds will punch a hole in a person. However, when done at slower speeds there is a wobble effect the bullet does that causes a lot of damage (less cavitation maybe though). With slier speeds you may not have to worry about over penetration either (like with the 7.62x39).
