Company Profiting From Obamacare Has Ties to Jeb, Hillary
December 22, 2014—It’s like looking into the future of crony capitalism. Tenet Healthcare, a major operator of hospitals which benefit from Obamacare, has Jeb Bush on its board and is fundraising for a group with connections to Hillary Clinton.

Bush announced his “exploration” of the possibility of running for president in 2016 and Clinton polls way ahead of all other likely Democratic contenders for the same office. One wonders what effect this will have on their Obamacare position.

If the polls are correct, it means Tenet, a big benefactor of the Affordable Care Act, has close relationships with the front-runners for the 2016 presidential nominations of the nation’s two political parties. And the for-profit hospital chain isn’t shy about hyping its ties to either presidential hopeful.
Tenet, which operates two of its 80 hospitals in the affluent Coachella Valley where the summit will take place, has been a strong supporter of the Affordable Care Act. The law has helped Tenet increase admissions and revenue growth not seen in years.

Surprise, surprise, surprise... Not. We became a plutocracy years ago and when only the wealthy get elected they will pass laws that will consolidate their and their friend's wealth at the expense of the general populous. Time for a legitimate third party (or no party) candidate. 🌫
