I had it professionally shaped before the holidays, I've kinda let myself go since I've been off.

^I'm 45, brother and mine would be almost as gray if I grew it out! Not much gray on my head yet, but plenty in my beard.

OK, your face is not one that only your mother could love. To be safe, shave for the interview. After you've been there awhile, you'll have a better idea about the culture of the place and will have established a rapport with your co-workers. Then a beard will not be worrisome.
