Yup! I have had 2 and they are great dogs! But One was 17 pds, and dottie is 12 and the best dog I've ever had. She's 8 now and i'LL be heartbroken when she's gone. she has a lot of years left but I want her to raise the pup. She is as good a dog anyone could ever hope for.

I raise Labs for 20 years....spectacular animals but not exactly lap dogs. want another little one.

You could your little weiner and catch a few fish!

To me the most loving, yet protective dog I've ever owned. Great with kids, playful, trainable although a bit hardheaded...LOL..Beautuful animals. I've raised mostly Chocs, but blacks n yellow too.

Ysed to duck hunt a lot and they could withstand cold, break through ice to make a retrieve, and be excited thru every second of it! absolutely AMAZING animals.

And yes...they make great huggin partners when you're sleeping!
