My only interaction with the smoke monkey was to question his relaton to the human - monkey family, his simian inclination to eat things to make his cigars minty. And maybe some comment about what a monkey can create if he types long enough. So you can imagine my surprise when a box arrived at my door.

What's this about??? How did I get in the line of fire from Ape-a-bama?

Perdomo champagne noir

perdomo habano

perdomo 10th Ani criolo

2 Perdomo RTR (roll tide roll)

perdomo lot 21

I'm sensing a pattern here.......have never explored perdomo this deep but I like.....

PLUS legado de pepin

and in honor of my big cigar avatar....a huge gran habano grandiosa

I don't know what you were thinking but return fire is already on the way....what it lacks in depth, it makes up for in lightning speed. Any one else want to slap the monkey?. I have addy.

Honestly, cac, I'm not a huge fan of the 10th Anni line other than the criollo. I haven't been able to put my fingers on why that is, however. But I flat love the Lot 23 Maduro. And the Habano Corojo.

Interesting, would take a 10th Anniv maduro over the Lot 23 any day of the week.

Haven't had many Perdomos, the few I've had haven't necessarily been memorable, but cant recall any thatve been bad.

Might be a brand I should explore. Have seen a few favorable posts recently.

I've delved pretty deep into the Perdomo lineup over the last several years, from top to bottom. I've had very few disappointments but also rarely had my breath taken away - and usually when I've found something I thought exceptional the price tag didn't match (i.e. Nick's Sticks Sungrown, which I think is great). Had an Edicion de Silvio recently, which was very good, but pricier than I would normally go. That said, their quality control is top notch, so, IMHO, you typically get a really good, but not exceptional, cigar at a more than reasonable price (EdS excluded) that almost never gives you issues.

Just my .02

And Cac, I get it. I frequently recommend them to people wanting a Perdomo because I know I'm in the minority. :)

And why don't the smilies show up on my iPhone when they do on my Android????

And I was curious so I already tried the 10th Ani criolo.........nice flavor stick ..perfect burn...... i have had the habano before and I was impressed with those. Perdomo makes a solid well built stick and these two are worth checking out..... of course I am going to be checking the others as I do my little Perdomo sampler. Thanks again Monkeyboy.

So I got home last night to return fire. Tampatom smacked me right back, and hard!

Torano Captiva

Flor de Ybor #85

GAR Vintage 2005

H. Upmann The Banker

Tatuaje #9 Veracou

Torano Exodus x 2

and the rolled-in-Tampa La Faraona

All new to me, so can't wait to dig in and light up!

Many thanks to Tom!
