So, a surgery to correct a hammer toe went horribly wrong... This is what I ended up with after the 3rd and hopefully final surgery to straighten out the toes enough so that I can wear a steel toe boot for work.... I saved the pics of the sutures and pins to share at the fish and herf..... pretty gross though.

3 implants, 3 steel plates, 2 fiber rods(can't see them on the x-ray), 2 pins that will be removed and 17 screws.....

Biggest problem now is that my foot is afraid of fire....... lol

Upside: Now your foot is awesome at Putting on the Ritz.
