What happened to NAFTA?

I am for Canada and Mexico entering the Union but first we have to be allowed to install our own governors, military, and police agents in order to ensure assimilation of American integrity and values. Then maybe after 30-40 years those states which joined under Mexico could be allowed to have local elections. The corruption has to be cleaned out first though.
