I love the Halliburton no bid contracts argument.......What other company provides the services Halliburton does on demand and of grand scale?I challenge you to name one.

One is a Dutch company, Schlumberger and the other, Bechtel, a USA company, though they would have contracted off much of the work to Halliburton and their various subsidiaries, i.e., KBR, Inc. (formerly Kellogg Brown & Root).

Halliburton was the right choice and anyone that thinks they could move good and provide services in a war zone for a lot less money or faster, likely doesn't know know their azz from a hole in the ground.

In this case, yes. One example: After hurricane Katrina,the govt handed out a no bid contract for debris removal @ $25 per ton. It was subcontracted down several times. One company who got a subcontract didn't even have any working trucks or usable equipment. The contractor who finally did the work was a black owned company who did the clean-up @ $2 per ton. X 😳
