Although I've been accused of getting my news exclusively from FoxNews (a medium I haven't watched in several years), I do receive email blasts from The Cape Cod Times and The Boston Globe.

Within the Globe headlines was an article about young voters "feeling punched in the gut".
The lead-in to the article contains what I will consider perhaps the ultimate summation of the 2016 elections:

“Basically, Trump is everything wrong with America’s culture, and Hillary is everything wrong with our government,” said Janae Petitjean, 19, a Wake Technical Community College student.
