Great place to chill for a glass (or bottle) but it is expensive.

$34 for this all pinot grape aged in stainless.

Their Tempranillo and Oak Aged Pinot is awesome ($55 a bottle)

Vineyard is about 40 years old and is on their second owner who is their first commercial producer. The original owner ran the 30 something acres all for himself.

What was the flavor like? That looks more like a Rose made from pinot noir.

^ that's exactly what it is.

It has a much lighter bite than Pinot, much more subtle body presence. I made a big spaghetti dinner last night and it held up and complimented the meal. It's like a red drinkers rose.

The tasting room is modern industrial, but the new owner reclaimed and reporposed lots of old stuff from the old rack barn. It's like a hidden jewel compared to the advertised and distributed (this isn't for sale anywhere locally) vineyards like Del Rio, Roxy Ann, or Valley View.

There's another smaller place we haven't made it to (Cricket Hill) that specializes in right bank Bordeaux. They're only open 12-5 on the weekend, and not kid friendly like most places here.

This is the only local Rose I know of that is 100% pinot, most are usually a blend.

No, it's a warm weather wine.

And it's snowing tonight so it was time to kill it.

Were going back out this month for our paid "wellness" day.
