I don't think I have had a Viaje since the move to the PDR factory, was it a good move? Been curious just not enough to buy some.

Initially they had some serious QC issues in what I tried. Their prices dropped and I've given them a second chance, they aren't what they used to be IMO but they make some really good ones now and then. Nothing I would chase though.

This one is really good, but the two I've had were very undefiled for a boxpressed cigar. Burned much quicker than I'd suspect by the ring gauge. But....tasty

Agree this is a good cigar. Much more dimensional and impressive flavor profile compared to the Exclusivo Nicaragua (blue leaf on band).

Not clear on the move to the PDR factory?? The Exclusivo Nicaragua was made by Eduardo Fernández of Casa Fernández and AGANORSA (http://halfwheel.com/viaje-teases-exclusivo-nicaragua-corona-gorda/135951) and the Exclusivo Reserva is from Honduras - Fábrica de Tabacos Raíces Cubanas S. de R.L. (http://halfwheel.com/viaje-exclusivo-reserva-robusto/122396)

Still prefer the OR Exclusivo blend, but found this release very enjoyable. May have to dig out a Tower Anniversary to compare
