The Simcoalition I thought would be a perfect fit for what you described as your preference. Unfortunately, I don't think I hit on many that were in the same neighborhood as that one. I was in Philly yesterday thought and was looking online at a beer store near John and they had a few local NEIPAs that I was unaware of and haven't made their way here yet. Will keep an eye out for them.

Maybe cuz I don't have any Zonker? When it's 100+ out a big, heavy stout seems less appealing. I asked Shaun to find me a few NE IPA styles to try.

1887-1889 ~ Henry Winehards private reserve.

Tastes like it used to (re-introduced recently) not a bad summer beer for $8 per 18 pack.

Watching my step sons at the last leg of the southern Oregon BMX invitational. 2 wrecks no broken bones.

1890 - Cap May Follow The Gull IPA hazy and juicy - still slightly higher IBU than I like but pretty good refresher. Lots of Citra and Amarillo in this one.

1891 - Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA - a miss IMO

Thanks to Shaun for allowing me to try some of the NE IPA styles. The left coast is starting to make some good ones.
