At face value it does appear fishy. But, undoubtedly there is more to this story. How long has this been in the works? In deal like this, there are penalties for backing out. If this has already been in the works, then I'm sure there are hefty penalties that would be incurred if the company backed out. So what if it's the highest price paid for a building. What's more important is what is the price per square foot. Is that more inline?
